Explore Your Creative Spirit   
For everyone - An Experience in Drawing & Spontaneous Expression
Feel the excitement as you surrender and allow the drawing to emerge with no expectations and with no judgments. Passion and energy fill your body as you continue to witness the shapes and colors emerging from that place deep inside of you that knows no limits and no boundaries.

This is experiential, lots of doing with a small amount of information.

    This is a time of trusting hand and heart to find their way.  Allow the mind to follow - not lead - the hand.  Most often the eyes are the windows of the mind, bring in evidence to that seat of judgment for a verdict.  Train your eyes instead to be passive observers of the activity of your hands.  Allow the body to monitor the rightness of the stroke and the poignancy of the emergent image.  You will know when some novel image or gesture is "right" because your body will register a sense of well-being, naturalness, quiet strength.

    Session Format -  in person or over the telephone
         You will be led through some gentle movements, visualizations and ceremony to help you relax and connect strongly with Spirit.  If the session is over the telephone, it is up to you to set sacred space where you are: dimming the lights, lighting a candle, burning incense, or whatever it is you do to relax and feel centered.  
         After the opening ceremony, you will find some personal space, surrender, and let the creativity and inspiration flow using the paper and drawing mediums suggested. I will continue to hold sacred space and guide you through the session offering intuitive insights as they arise.  We will leave some time for a closing ceremony.
    Art materials: When you contact me to make an appointment, I will send you information about the art materials.  Depending on your choices, it could be less than $10.  Any large paper (18"x24" or larger) and drawing utensils work. Visit your local craft or art store and see what catches your eye!

    My experience with Drawing & Spontaneous Expression

    Life is richer and more joyful if we allow ourselves to be creative, and if we create with no judgments and no attachments to the end product. When we create for the pure enjoyment of it, we find our life flows more smoothly.

    I draw in a spontaneous way with charcoal, pastels, oil pastels, pencils, pens.  I draw on newsprint and pastel paper, children’s colored construction paper and notebook paper.  It fills me with a passion and energy I didn’t realize existed before.

    Spontaneous drawing has helped me to process emotions, has improved my confidence in other areas of my life, has helped me move forward rather than staying stuck, and has given me energy, joy and passion. This happened simply by being conscious, connecting more deeply with Spirit and having specific intentions to release emotions or to simply have the intention to release onto the paper whatever wanted to emerge.

    I have created drawings with scribbles and drawings that have nameable objects and a combination of the two.   It is exciting to watch the colors and shapes appear from seemingly out of nowhere...  knowing that all of it came from within me, in cooperation with Spirit. 

    I love to encourage others to widen their horizons, to increase their views of reality using creativity, to experience ‘more’ that is available than what they settle for, challenging them to look beyond and outside of their boxes.   Drawing & spontaneous expression are a wonderful way of allowing people to safely explore these realms.  It gives them structure they are comfortable with to be willing to expand.  It is a medium in which they can allow themselves to let down their walls and pretenses and truly explore themselves.

    You are invited to join me on this adventure.   To focus deep inside yourself to see what is there and what would like to emerge onto the paper in front of you, to feel the passion and energy move through you, to connect with Spirit and to feel free to put onto the paper whatever your soul prompts your arm, hand and pencil to draw.  To lovingly accept, with no judgment, what evolves before your eyes.  To move beyond your believed limitations... to feel free... to feel expansion...
