Sculpture for the 2007 Lyons Sculpture Trail "A Close Examination of the Wizard's Drawers" www.SculptureTrail.com The theme for the 2007 trail was a rewrite of "Jack and the Beanstalk". It was a tale of finding the source of one's creativity. My sculpture represented the place in the story where Jack meets the Wizard and trades his family cow for the magic beans. (He makes the decision to follow his heart rather than do what society dictates.) It is an interactive sculpture, which means viewers could buy magic beans for 25 cents, turn over the magic wand and watch the glitter float in it, open a box to see a surprise, make the sound of a cow by turning over a toy, view magic potions, ring a bell, play a small crank music box, etc. Realistic Drawings and Paintings
